Mars Curiosity Panorama

And you didn't think Curiosity could get any neater! Here is an interactive panorama, created by Andrew Bodrov of all the HD photos the rover has sent back so far.

You can also go here for the original site. The detail still amazes me!

And if you'll look directly to the west, you will see Martian Highway 1.
They saw us coming and they all hid.

Is that what that is?!!! No signs no clover leafs....I suspect they are not at our level of mayhem and confusion...

Hmmm, unless this is the desert stretch. Not to mention we slam into their atmosphere, throwing junk everywhere.
"I can just see it. Head for the shelter Martha, the earthlings are polluting our planet again, and throwing things at us."
Oh yeah, that one still pic afetr Curiosity landed, that showed what looked like the TARDIS in the distance was the sky crane crashing into mars.
See, we're even polluting that planet already.

Call me an accident chaser, but that is the first place I would send the rover. I would love to see how that turned out! lol, but yeah, I did see the Tardis shadow...but if that is the crane crashing...doesn't the film stop just before landing or some such...I would have thought that Curiosity was still on the wire at this point.

Yeah me too. I found that article on one of the NASA pages. Now I'm out trying to find it again since it's off my homepage already.
Not sure about all those details myself, just going by what NASA said. I'll find it again and post the link. I hope I find it again that is. My system erases history every night, so I can't simply backtrack through my history. I get to go through all the sites and try to find it again, what a pain.

Bloody hell. This is no crap here. 8 seconds after posting that last comment, I found the site. Here it is for all of you that wished for the TARDIS, or anything else. Yeah, I was one of them, even though I knew better than that. Can always hope for something you know. Anyway, here's the link folks.

That's pretty cool. However, I fail to see Mt. Sharp. I would think that it would be fairly easy to spot, seeing that it is the largest feature in the near vicinity.

Perhaps one of you bulging brain types can explain it to me.

Yeah, I looked around and at standard mag. everything is kinda blurry but when you pull back features are much more decernable.
